Beautiful pictures! Living in a college town means fall has it's own kind of energy. Also: "Spramped" is my new favorite word. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Poltergeist. Tbh, I wish I would've waitied. Seeing it as a kid was...not the best idea.
Thank you again for including me in the Curious George project! It was a blast to do. I'm "kinda" ambidextrous- I write left handed, but that's it. I'm a rightie for everything else.
Thanks Kevin! The one time I visited Madison was in the late fall and it was pretty beautiful AND happened to be over a game weekend, so I really feel like I got the full college town situation! Spramped is the new Baby Fishmouth! It’s sweeping the nation! I’m looking forward to screening Polyergeist as well…I just remember it being everywhere when I was a kid…and the little blonde girl was terrifying!
I KNOW!!! We might both spontaneously combust from being in the same space-time continuum! Yes to all of that and screenings too! I’ll drop you a message…:)
That will be SUBLIME! Yes, you will have your pick of directions and no shortage of beauty everywhere. Enjoy and please report back on THE BEST CIDER DOUGHNUT. It’s kind of the law around here this time of year :)
Beautiful beautiful photos, Sheila. I love the colors of those leaves. How I would love to fly into Maine, rent a car and drive slowly through the back roads. We Californians just don't get to see the autumn spectacle!
Thanks Sharron! It really is a wonderland. And you definitely don’t have to look very far to find something amazing. Even the years when the trees are supposedly less spectacular, I find them still glorious :) Maybe a road trip is in your future next year! X!
When I was young I had the great good fortune of driving through Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine and on up to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia - twice! Such a beautiful part of the world, and one I will remember with fondness. You keep the memory alive for me..

Excited for the questionnaire!
We are in Waltham so not too far from
The home of the original Harvard Square Curious George bookstore… Fall in New England is sublime
YAY!!! Thanks Beth! I am in Medford !! We should rendezvous at some point. I would absolutely love that.
What?!?! IRL person on Substack?!?? No way. And yes I’d love that. Medford has some good grub I hear. Also, 👋 we could do film viewings together.

This would be an awesome "collab." Am I too old to use collab in a sentence? Probably. Doin' it anyway.
HA! Kevin—you and Vanilla Ice maybe..he wishes he had thrown down collab! We’ll report back! 💥
I’m taking my husband to see the leaves in New England for his first time NEXT WEEK and I cannot wait
