Urban art FTW! I love how the Big Dig had this nice "externality." True though about Boston traffic, but for tourists at least you have the great public transit that gets you to the must see places for a first timer (Boston Common, Boston PL, Faneiul Hall, etc.)

Come to Denver my friend cuz we are chockablock with city art that really astounds!

It’s a date!! I love it when cities get all soft and goopy with art and green spaces and lovely features. We are lucky! And yes: Boston rolls its eyes and is all “Sure, sure, here’s a mostly working subway since yahhh too much of a WICKID BABY TO DRIVE YAHH CAHHH HEEEAHH!” 😘

This reminds me of the Graffiti Park in Austin, TX where I used to live. It was a free-for-all space where artists could paint any time, so the walls were ever changing. Such a cool thing to see in real time.

That sounds incredible! What an awesome space for artists-and so vital, too!

Some great images here. I particularly like the "untitled" one. :)

We should all take a page out of graphic artists’ book: Essay Untitled; Story #8 😉

I love this!!!! I can't wait to get back east and check it out. Oh, and the "big dig" -- was it before or after this gargantuan project that water began to seep through the tiles in the Callahan Tunnel????

Oh you MUST! It is such a beautiful space & so vibrant! Yes! That leaky tunnel issue WAS part of the Big Dig! I am sure Ben Mezrich is working on a book about it right now (or he sooooo should) 😉
