I remember seeing the Korean war memorial at night in DC when I was on a college trip. It was freaky how lifelike everything looked. I was also crushing HARD on my first soon-to-be boyfriend, so all my DC memories are tinged with young euphoric butterflies...hard to be TOO solemn with cute guy there...or wait, maybe he'll be impressed if I seem emotional...quick, look sad... Gah! 😜
That struggle is RILL my friend….maybe he was thinking the same thing? :) That memorial gets more stunning every time I visit. Nighttime is a little too surreal…
